Fox International Fellowship Program (FIFP) (Yale University)

The Fox International Fellowship program seeks applicants whose work contributes to problem-focused, practical solutions to the world's most pressing challenges, focusing on fields such as:

  • International Relations and Global Affairs
  • Law
  • Environmental Policy
  • Public Health
  • Social Sciences
  • Economics
  • Political Science
  • Business and Finance, and Management
  • Contemporary History

The goal of the FIFP is to enhance mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries by promoting international scholarly exchanges and collaborations among the next generation of leaders. The program seeks to identify and nurture students interested in harnessing scholarly knowledge to respond to the world's most pressing challenges.

The scholarship duration is one (Northern hemisphere) academic year, during which time the Fellow undertakes independent scholarly research.  


Benefits

This fellowship provides the an allowance to cover airfares, housing, health insurance cost and a stipend (determined by Yale) to cover living expenses at the normal rates for graduate students registered for a degree at Yale.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must be a enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne and in the progress of writing your thesis or be working on a current project, an extension of a previous project or suggest an entirely new avenue of enquiry.

Application

You must submit the Fox International Fellowship Program Application Form by the closing date.

Selection

The University will shortlist eligible students for nomination to Yale University on the basis of academic merit and the quality of their application. 

Outcome

You will be notified of the outcome of your application around 1 April.
