Melbourne School of Engineering Scholarships

The Melbourne School of Engineering Scholarships are awarded to high-achieving students commencing in any of the School's graduate coursework programs. These scholarships are awarded at the time of course offer and no separate application is required.


Benefits

100 Point Courses

One payment, equal to the amount in your offer letter, will be made after the census date of your first semester.

 

150 Point Courses

Two payments will be made after the census dates of your first and third semesters. The first payment will be equal to the per annum amount in your offer letter, the second payment will be 50% of the per annum amount.

 

200 and 300 Point Courses

Two payments, equal to the per annum amount in your offer letter, will be made after the census dates of your first and third semesters.

 

All Recipients

This scholarship will be listed in your my.unimelb Student Portal AFTER the census date of your first semester.

Application

All applicants into the Melbourne School of Engineering's graduate coursework programs are automatically considered for these scholarships and no separate application is required.

Only successful applicants will be notified via their formal course offer letter.

Other Scholarships

  • Recipients may hold this scholarship concurrently with others offered by The University of Melbourne
     
  • Other scholarships available from the Melbourne School of Engineering are awarded separately, after the time of course offer

 

Course Deferral

  • This scholarship will be deferred automatically at the time of course deferral and no separate notification is required.

 

Terms and Conditions

  • This scholarship is not transferable to other courses at the University of Melbourne

  • Recipients will still receive scholarship payments while on an exchange or study abroad program

  • Recipients are still required to pay any applicable enrolment and course fees

  • Recipients must be enrolled in at least 25 points of credit per semester to receive scholarship payments

  • Recipients are expected to pass all subjects and achieve at least a 65% average to receive second instalment payments (if applicable)

  • Recipients who fail to meet the 65% minimum will be notified by the Scholarships Office and the second payment will be cancelled
