Sir Thomas Peel Dunhill Research Scholarship was established with a bequest by the late Sir Thomas Peel Dunhill. He was a surgeon who studied at the University.

This scholarship is one of several trust-funded scholarships available through the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences for students who have applied for, or are enrolled in a graduate research degree of the faculty.
The duration of the scholarship is up to 1 year. The scholarship provides a fortnightly allowance of approximately $500 per year (pro rata).
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
be applying for or enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.
satisfy the faculty's eligibility standards for course and scholarship.
