Future Generations Scholarship
Established by donations to the University of Melbourne 2006 Annual Appeal, the Future Generations Scholarship is available to high achieving graduate coursework student.
The University usually awards up to 20 scholarships per year.
The Future Generations Scholarship provides an allowance of $5,000 per year for up to two years. The allowance is paid in instalments in April and September of each year.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen,
have received an offer for a domestic fee-paying or Commonwealth Supported Place, and
intend to enrol as a full-time student in an eligible graduate coursework degree at the University of Melbourne
Students who have applied for admission to the University are automatically considered for the Future Generations Scholarship.
Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit.
This scholarship is offered progressively by February (for courses commencing at the start of the year) or July for courses commencing in the middle of the year).
